How to send empty post to friends via pc

Dear facebook users, with this trick you can write empty status to friends. So follow these steps.
First of login to your facebook account and go to " Update Status " .
Now press and hold Alt key and type 0173 from the num pad buttons. After it,
click on " Post " button. Now you are able to send empty status.
